HUMANITARIAN ACTION OF MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA "LET’S HELP OUR CHILDREN"

At the third session of the Commission of Municipality of Palilula for the eligibility and criteria for awarding financial assistance to vulnerable families with seriously ill children, which was chaired by Dragan Terzic, it was decided that some of the funds raised in the campaign, "Let's help our children," be awarded to Miljana Djordjevic from Gabrovac, ul. Bubanjski Heroji. Milijana Djordjevic sought help of Municipality of Palilula to regulate transport or purchase a monthly card for going to Therapy and regular control of a child who has been diagnosed with hemophilia B. The diagnosis of this disease was placed in the second month of youngsters life, and since then family Djordjevic is looking for a solution to cure child's illness.

The Commission found that Djordjevic family lives in a very difficult condition, and in the words of Zlatko Šemić, a member of the Municipal Council, this family meets all the criteria set by the Commission to approve the special funds for them. The approved funds will be disbursed from the account 840-2879741-16 Municipality of Palilula, which was opened in dedication to the charity event'' Let's help our children''. Charity activities ” Let's help our children” is being more and more interested to business people and socially responsible companies, said, Boban Džunić, president of Municipality of Palilula. We recently signed a contract with the Agency for the engineering-management system, CERT-PLUS, in order to increase the cooperation and support of our humanitarian activities. Agency, CERT PLUS, will conduct training of interested companies and organizations on management, implementation of new standards and EU directives, and funds raised in this way will be directed to the donor for the purpose of charitable fund of the municipality. Applications of interested companies-institutions for staff training and participation in humanitarian action will be gathered until  August 31st, and should be directed to the Agency, CERT-PLUS, (Najdan Vojnovic) by calling 069/2212-956 or by e mail office@cert-plus.com. According to President Džunić, by applying candidates for training and practice contributes to achieving the objectives of humanitarian activities.
